CryptoGems: Tips, Tricks, & Gimmicks
to Increase your Crypto Value

Welcome to CryptoGems!  Here you'll find some additional crypto-content to help you in your crypto-journey.  If you haven't done the other Crypto-4-Beginners sections we suggest you start there first.

In fact, the best way to navigate this website is to start with "An Introduction to Important Concepts".  The continue with the sections: "Brave Browser", "Create a Digital Crypto Wallet", "Create an Account on a Crypto Exchange", "Introduction to Decentralized Finance", and then the bonus material "How to Profit Trading Cryptocurrencies".

If you'd like a 1-0n-1 tutorial with an agent (or myself), you can schedule a zoom meeting and i'll show you step by step how to navigate this space.  Or, you can join our Facebook group page "DocCrypt0's Futurist Topics" for more daily crypto content and chat support via Messenger.

In this section we'll cover a few different concepts that will help you to earn crypto.

Pi

Pi is a new cryptocurrency.  In fact, its an experiment by Stanford University students in the creation of value.  You can't purchase Pi at the moment, the only way to acquire it is by mining.  However, the developer team has done something unique and developed an easy, low energy mechanism for "mining" Pi.  The current value of Pi is zero, but to truly understand this experiment and the potential of Pi, is to first look back in the early days of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin was first introduced to the world in 2009.  It has a value of zero.  Miners would use their computers to generate Bitcoin.  By May of 2010, the first transaction for Bitcoin was made.  A man named Laszlo Hanyecz offered online, 10,000 Bitcoins to anyone that would order him two pizza's.  The two pizza's from Papa John's cost approximately 30$, which set Bitcoin to a value of 0.003$. A little over a decade later, Bitcoin would surge to amazing heights.

The Pi network is being rolled out in phases, and is expected to have a tradable marketplace for Pi by the end of 2021, to mid 2022.  In the meantime, "Pioneers" (Thats what they call Pi enthusiasts) are able to easily mine Pi on their mobile devices, without any worry about their phone battery being drained or reduced operating speeds.  This is because Pi mining is done from a central location, and users connected to the network are distributed these newly mine Pi tokens.

To connect to the network, a person simply downloads the app to their phone, chooses a username, and has the option to link their phone number as a security measure to prevent spam bots.  Doing so will result in higher hourly rewards.  Users can set their account to "view ads" or not, but the ads do help contribute to the developer team, and its only one ad per day.  Still, you have the option to block these ads.

While I don't expect the value of Pi to skyrocket on the day the Pi marketplace opens, I do think there will be a valued use in unbanked areas of the world were approximately 4 billion people worldwide have limited or no access to banks, but whom have access to phones.  If you've been paying attention, you realize that in these regions, phones and commerce are tightly knit together, as a payment system.

To join the Pi network, you'll need a referral code.

To claim your Pi, follow this link https://minepi.com/DocCrypt0 and use my username (DocCrypt0) as your invitation code.  (Copy and Paste for accuracy).

WowDoge

WowDoge is a DogeCoin cloud mining game, that allows users to earn DogeCoin.  The platform gives users a free test miner that produces about 0.5 DOGE per day for 30 days.  After that, you'll have to use DOGE to purchase an array of cartoon looking dog "DOGE-Miners" for various rates, which produce DOGE at various rates.  Don't let the cartoon dogs fool you, you can actually make profit with this platform.

For example, a doggie DOGE-Miner that cost 500 DOGE, produces 96 DOGE per day for 36 days, yielding 3456 DOGE.  There are more expensive or less expensive miners, but over all, they produce more DOGE than the miner cost.

There are also additional quest that users can do to earn more DOGE, such as invite friends, follow the developers on social media, or even play games like Dice or Roulette.

To join, you can go to WoWDoge.io or use my promo code, and you'll get extra DOGE since using a Promo-Code is one of the first quests.  Use the link below.

RollerCoin

RollerCoin is a mining simulator game.  The game... simulates the mining experience.   The way it works is players play various games, and are awarded power in the form of a "hash rate". The higher the hash-rate you accumulate the more power you contribute to the network and thus the higher your block reward is.   The games last about 30 seconds to 60 seconds, and the block rewards are paid out every 5 minutes.  You're not actually using "power" per say, and you're not actually mining crypto - what's actually happening is the game makes money via ads, then its splits that revenue with the users of the network.  Users then play games and compete with each other for network power.  The total network power divided by your power output (by playing games) results in your share of the block rewards.

Players can choose to mine Bitcoin, Ethereum, or DogeCoin.  Or they can purchase RollerCoin if they'd like to invest into the company.  It's quite the interesting idea, and the game's are fun.

If you'd like to join RollerCoin, you can use this link.  https://rollercoin.com/?r=k9bxbdqi

CryptoTab Browser

The CryptoTab browser is a browser and Bitcoin cloud miner.  The browser itself is nicely set up and user friendly.  Mining can be done by setting the speed from off to max.  But, I have to be honest, I tried it with my laptop and after just 5 minutes my laptop was overheating, fan at maximum.  I haven't used it since, so I have no idea how fast it mines.  I made 0.000000011191 BTC in 5 minutes at max setting.  I'd certainly suggest doing more research on this before using.

Coinmiles

Coinmile is an online shopping platform that gives you cash back on your purchases in the form of Bitcoin.  An example of some of the deals are, Nike (3.6%), Home Depot (1%), H&R Block (5%), Walmart (1%), and others, will earn you a percentage of what ever you spend back in Bitcoin.

Signing up gets you 7500 SAT, which translates into some small amount of Bitcoin, roughly less than a 1$.  Still, its an excellent app for anyone that does online shopping.

And finally, here is a list of YouTuber's that I personally follow.  Please note, you should take what anyone says in this space with a grain of salt and always do your own research.  That being said, the more information you can get the better - just understand, not all information is equally valuable, so please use caution in this space.

#1 Chico Crypto

This is one of my favourite channels, Chico gets down to the nitty-gritty of the behind the scenes action in crypto. While I can't say I agree with everything Chico says, he does have grade-A content.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHop-jpf-huVT1IYw79ymPw

#2 BitBoy Crypto

Another one of my favs.  Bitboy (Ben) provides great quality videos and information, despite the often sensational clickbait titled, I still get value from watching this channel.  It should be noted that this channel has a lot of followers, so if Bitboy even mentions a token, its bound to increase in value shortly after, but also likely to crash in price not long after it peaks.  The reason is likely that traders take profits after they ride that wave.

#3 EllioTrades

Elliot is another great content provider, and has really informative content on ALTs and NFTs.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMtJYS0PrtiUwlk6zjGDEMA

#4 D'APP University

Honestly, I listed it as number 4, but this is my absolute favourite channel.  Gregory is a developer and teaches how to become a blockchain developer.  He's a developer for the Ethereum Blockchain, so that's his main focus, but if you're looking to become a developer, this is the #1 channel.

#5 Ivan on Tech

Ivan, is amazing, but also... exhausting - black coffee, no sugar! If you're into technical analysis, deep breakdowns, at high pace, Ivan is the man!  Ivan also provides classes for programming and trading, an absolute gem.

#6 Coin Bureau

He's not a financial advisor, but he's got some good information.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqK_GSMbpiV8spgD3ZGloSw

#7 Exodus

This channel does reviews on different cryptocurrencies.
